The news is buzzing, Marty Makary is about to be fired. Why? Well the turmoil at the FDA is undeniable but the real reason is apparently Makary was a little too slow to approve more vaping products. It seems Trump has some friends in the vaping industry.

Trump certainly doesn’t know or care what EVALI is but surely Makary does. He should have stood up to Trump on this one. He did eventually give in and his reward is - he gets shown the door.
Makary is a rarity on the Trump team, he is a real doctor, not a fraud like so many others. He may have thought that hitching his wagon to team orange was a good career move. Obviously not. Now he will be forever remembered as Marty McVape,
