Just to be a little off topic but you inspired me to "do my own research", ;~O! I kept thinking about athletes, especially contact sports. Those "cervical manipulation" tend to be not so gentle. Found a good study. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8507848/#sec5-ijerph-18-10047

Thank you for sharing. Chiropractors have manipulated themselves right into the locker rooms of just about every professional and collegiate sport. There are now "sports chiopractors". One wonders if they are an unrecognized risk factor. That question deserves further study.

Considering that the head and neck area is subjected to trauma, hence my use of not so gentle cervical stress "manipulation. Even a header in soccer puts a lot of stress on head and neck. I am not sure if we can get medical records from sport teams but it would be an interesting study.
