“Persistent symptoms after vaccination -- sometimes called "long vax" -- are similar to those reported with long COVID, including small-fiber neuropathyopens in a new tab or window and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTSopens in a new tab or window). But studies have largely shown that the risk of post-vaccine events do not exceed background ratesopens in a new tab or window, or that the odds of a new diagnosis like POTS are greater after SARS-CoV-2 infectionopens in a new tab or window than after vaccination.”
I think it was Dr. Peter McCoullough who may have been the first to invent the condition known as “long vax”. Despite borrowing from “long COVID” which actually does exist, it’s pretty clever actually. Unwary patients might confuse the two. First claim that mRNA vaccines are dangerous, then claim their adverse effects are long term, then claim a that you have the treatment. It’s marketing genius!
Now there will even be studies to investigate an entity that lacks evidence for its existence.
