Factual accuracy is not apparently one of Dr. Ladapo’s strengths. After being accused of falsifying data for his “study” of COVID vaccine side effects to create misinformation, Ladapo is now being sued for factual inaccuracies and obstructing the standard of care for teens with gender dysphoria by ignoring the recommendations of expert groups.
I confess, I dont know much about gender dysphoria and transgender health care. That is not my area of expertise. In medicine we are required by the medical practice act to stay within our taining and expertise. So, I endorse the recommnedations of the experts who have more knowledge than I.
That’s what physicians must do. It is an unprofessional violation of the medical practice act for physicians to opine as experts in areas outside the clinical training. Dr. Ladapo is neither a fellowship trained and board certified infectious disease doctor nor a pediatric endocrinologist. He would be wise to restrict his actions to those areas of medicine within his training and to defer to his colleagues with expertise in the areas he is not trained in.
We should all do that.

Pro tip: castrating children and lopping off pre-pubescents' breasts is life destroying child abuse of the highest order. If that's not obvious, for gawd's sake, get out of medicine.
